An Apprenticeship is a training programme, where you can earn a salary working for an employer, while gaining a qualification and learning the key skills and behaviours you need to advance in your career. You’ll develop practical experience on the job, while simultaneously studying for a professional qualification. Apprenticeships aren’t just for school leavers anymore, if you’re aged 16 or over, you can progress your career with an Apprenticeship in a variety of industries. At FAR Training, you can start at Level 2 and progress up to a Level 4 apprenticeship in accounting. *Please note the above information is for England only.

There are no costs involved to the apprentice. As apprentices, you are employees within your organisation, with free training available to you to develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
You will get paid at least an apprenticeship wage. You can find out more about the minimum rates by clicking here. The Apprenticeship minimum wage relates to apprentices aged 16 to 18 or aged 19 and above in the first year of their Apprenticeship.
Each apprenticeship is different so they vary in length. Our Accounting Apprenticeships we offer vary from around 13 – 24 months.
For example: a level 2 apprenticeship can usually take up to 13 months whereas a level 4 accounting apprenticeship could take 24 months.
This duration also depends on your attitude, approach and commitment to progress.
Apprentices are entitled to get paid at least the National Minimum Wage. Current Apprenticeship minimum rates of pay are available here.
However, many employers tend to pay higher than the minimum wage.

Client success stories

Hear from our learners and partners about their experience, achievements and success with FAR Training.
Far training is a brilliant training provider. Lucy is an amazing tutor who is very supportive and is passionate about what she does.

I originally used FAR Training to complete my AAT Level 2 exams, and I had a great experience. Lucy then supported me in finding a Level 3 apprenticeship, and I’m now progressing through my Level 4 with FAR Training as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an apprenticeship or a training provider.
